Total Freshwater

Total Freshwater is ONLY FOR USE IN FRESHWATER and will treat the following aquariums for up to 3 months: 7.5oz jar up to 125gal, 12oz jar up to 225gal, 20oz jar up to 400gal, 12oz jar for each additional 100gal.

For Use in Canister Filters and Sumps:

Pour the desired amount of Total Freshwater into a 200um String media bag and close securely, Prior to use, rinse with RO/DI or dechlorinated tap water to remove dust from storage and transport. Pleace into canister filter as you whould other filtration media. For use in a sump, place in an area with high flow and away from pump intake.

For Use in a Dedicated Media Reactor:

Ensure your reactor is appropriate for 300 micron resins. Add the desired amount of media to your reactor. Adjust flow to gently tumble the resin.

Instructions for Regeneration:

Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the beads from white to dark brown or black. Will not release bound materials when exhausted. To recharge, soak Total Freshwater in a concentrated brine solution (4 cups non-iodized salt per gallon for each cup or 250mL or resin) or a 1:4 bleach:water mix for a minimum of 8 hours. Once regenerated, rinse thoroughly in dechlorinated tap or RO/DI water prior to resuming use. NOTE: Recharging using the brine solution will not change color of resin.

Shipping is restricted to the United States and Canada. Due to size and weight restrictions of some shipping carriers, items may be shipped in different containers than advertised. Please allow 48-72 business hours for orders to be processed.

Free Shipping is offered at checkout for all orders that exceed $99 and are shipped to a location within the continental United States of America. Due to weight and size, some items are not included in the Free Shipping promotion. This includes ReeFlowers Salts and Sands, Cobalt C-Vue Aquariums and Stands, and others.

C-Vue aquariums and stands are shipped with flat rate shipping rates, are not eligible for free shipping, and are restricted to the continental USA. Shipping rates are $60 for our 18g and 26g C-Vue aquariums and stands, while our 40g and 45g aquariums and stands ship for $100. Shipping rates are cumulative, as such shipping will be charged for each aquarium/stand added to your cart. Due to their size, some tanks may be shipped via a freight company. If this is the case then an appointment for delivery may be required by the freight company prior to delivery.

C-Vue Shipping Rates

40g/45g/50g Tanks and Stands - $100 each 

If your shipment is visibly damaged upon receipt, have the delivery person note this at the time of delivery. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, items may be returned within 30 days of purchase and will be exchanged or credited.
